"A 17th Century Oasis in the Sonoran Desert"
Casa La Aduana
Our Guest Rooms

Formerly treasury vaults, the Guest Rooms are large with thick stone walls. Several of the outer walls are a meter thick, assuring a quiet and cool room. The floors are paved with the original "lozeta" bricks fired in the kilns of the old smelter from the mining days. All guest rooms have working fireplaces and are stocked with firewood before your arrival to take off the chill on those cool, winter nights. For your comfort in warmer weather, our rooms have air-conditioning to keep them pleasantly cool. Although the area has many natural and historic attractions, the rooms are equipped with satellite television so you can enjoy your favorite North American (English) programs and news as well as Spanish programming from Mexico, Spain and Central and South American television channels.
Although our setting is rustic, much attention has been given to your comfort. The bedding and linens in the rooms are of the highest calibre: new, excellent quality mattresses, truly comfortable pillows and all-cotton luxurious sheets and pillowcases, towels are plush, large and absorbent.
